My name is Peter Lindquist and I live in Norrköping. I was born and raised in Nybro, but moved to the west coast 1983, for my new job at the coastal radio station Göteborg Radio, as radio operator and Search and Rescue (SAR) Mission Coordinator. After the closing of Göteborg Radio in 1995, my workplace relocated to Götebor, where I continued working as a SAR Mission Cordinator and later also IT-coordinator, and from time to time also as Press Spokesperson at JRCC Sweden, "Sweden Rescue". This JRCC now belongs to SMA - The Swedish Maritime Administration. In the spring of 2014, my job relocated me once again, now to the SMA Head Office in Norrköping. There I worked with SAR statistics, TETRA, The Swedish Coastal Radio Network (VHF/MF/AIS), The Telephone System at JRCC as well as various computer systems at JRCC. I'm retired since 2019-02-01. Here you can download and read my career story (this file is in Swedish). There is also a slide show presentation. My summer house is at Granudden in Färjestaden on the Island of Öland. There is a nice garden and you may browse my Photo Album to se beautiful images of all my Flowers. On-site, there is also my private Weather Station, Davis VP2 Plus. My ham radio callsilgn is SM5GXQ, alternatively SM7GXQ. Currently I am heavily engaged in SvxLink and the Svx Portal (the Swedish analogoue repeater network). I also manage a Facebook group as well as a web site, sk7rfl.se. All this and more, you will find at my wep site granudden.info, and my blog cpgp.blogg.se. |
